Governments should not be allowed to censor social media sites. The people who are posting are posting the truth, or posting what they think is the truth. The governments should not prevent the truth from coming out.

What role did social media play in the events that occurred in Tunisia, Iran, and Egypt?

Social media such as facebook, twitter, and blogger allowed the people to realize that something was going on in their country and helped them change it. By reading other peoples posts, they could see what was happening in other parts of the country, they could message each other to try and change it by organizing protests in Egypt for example.
